Free conference on "Dora Maar, a certain view of the world"

A surrealist photographer in the 1930s and then a painter for the rest of her career, Dora Maar has only begun to be recognized for her true artistic value since her first retrospective in 2019. The woman who has often been reduced to her status as Pablo Picasso's muse was in fact a designer, painter, fashion photographer and also an active member of surrealist circles. Her passionate, tormented and dramatic life made her a highly romantic character, about whom we will learn more during this conference.
