Private tours for couples
Are you dreaming of spending a special moment together, discovering the capital’s art, perhaps as a birthday present?
Paris’s museums and heritage sites offer a wide range of options, so you’re sure to find something to suit you, from intimate tours of the capital’s treasures to exploring its most breathtaking monuments!
Sometimes, all it takes is stepping off the beaten track to find yourselves alone with some of the greatest gems in the collections. For example, did you know that even at the Louvre, the world’s most visited museum, there are often few people gathered around the famous ‘Portrait of the Bathers’, a metaphor for motherhood depicting Diane de Poitiers and her sister? Nor in the sumptuous Napoleon III apartments, one of the capital’s last remaining Second Empire-style complexes, which serve as a reminder that the Louvre housed the Ministry of Finance until 1989?
Similarly, Place Dauphine, a true architectural gem from the early 17th century, is often occupied only by local pétanque players, away from the main tourist crowds. As Paris’s second royal square, it was the setting for the romance between Simone Signoret and Yves Montand, just a stone’s throw from the Pont-Neuf.
This means you can enjoy Paris’s artistic heritage in a peaceful setting, perfect for contemplation, in good company.
A Parisian at heart since 2016 and a nationally accredited tour guide, I am committed to showing you a more intimate side of Paris.
Friendly get-togethers with friends
An art tour is also an opportunity to enjoy a pleasant time with friends, whilst discovering one of the capital’s many artistic treasures.
Organising a tour with loved ones provides the perfect setting for a chance to chat and discuss the artworks. The intimate, private nature of the group means the tour can be tailored to suit your preferences, allowing us to spend time on the pieces that most capture your interest and that of your friends and family.
Whether in the off-the-beaten-track corridors of the Louvre or Montmartre, at the Opéra Garnier or in Paris’s temporary exhibitions, I invite you to experience an authentic and special moment.
At the heart of major temporary exhibitions, I invite you to enjoy the capital’s finest retrospectives and to immerse yourself in the rhythm of the cultural scene.
