About the event
Lasting 1h30 to 2h, to be defined according to your wishes, this guided tour will allow you to rediscover the theme of the horse , extensively worked on by the artist Théodore Géricault , pioneer of the romantic movement in France , and whose bicentenary of death is being celebrated this year.
Bringing together more than a hundred exceptional works , this exhibition is indeed an opportunity to discover the many faces of the horse , in the one about whom the writer Théophile Gautier wrote, in 1848 , that "no one else has rendered like Géricault the ideal of equine perfection".
